Well no one followed through.....poor kids will never know how much they are loved....
Since I can not think of anything else to write today I thought I would review some recent movies I have seen. some are older movies that you may have seen some are newer.
Chris got this movie for Easter and we both really enjoyed it. A classic tale of good verses evil where good wins. Set in England but with an American family this movie will thrill those younger audiences still to young for Lord of the Rings and just below Harry Potter.
Hated this movie. Didn't flow....didn't like the supporting characters, or plot.
I watched this before I would let Chris watch. It has a bit of "adult" jokes but really not too bad. Chris really enjoyed it and is now asking for it for his bday.
Cute but not a fufiling plot really. Great for a rental but do not purchase
Horton Hears a Who. SO CUTE!! TAKE YOUR KIDS NOW!
Day off....
I am off today to be with my kids....our spring break so to say. My boys are leaving for their dad's tomorrow and so I took today off to get some Dr's apts. taken care of and hopefully take the boys to Horton hears a who. Normally for spring break we try to do fun outdoor stuff...Still too yucky to do that....No Zoo for us today I am afraid!
Here are some layouts I did for the April KNK club!
I have more so as soon as they are posted at knk I will post them here!
TTFN!!!
yeah....not the kind you wear on your head. Although not many people wear them on their heads much anymore anyway. The cub scout derby car races were a few weeks ago and I am now just barely getting to the pictures. Here are a few.
The boys had a fantastic time and after the 'big kids' raced the little kids got to do their own race. All it all it was an exciting evening and even though my cub scout didn't win one race, he had a BLAST! He also got THREE pins that night! Way to go my little corn husker!
This woman here has been a part of our "family" since Taylor was about 6 months old. She owned the day care my kids went to up till a year ago. Her kids played at my house, my kids played at her house, and now our kids are growing up so we don't see her as much as we used to. Until they opened a restaurant. In fact they opened my favorite restaurant. Her and her husband did anyway. This hunky man. Me and my family love eating there, not just me and the boys but my Dad, and step mom, brothers and sisters, uncles etc. Franco's is the best. Their pizza is hand tossed and New york Authentic. The "Franco's Brothers" father and grand father owned a place in new york and they grew up making it. We are having some tonight.
I was lucky enough to take photos in their restaurant of them in action....
I spend way too much time reading other peoples blogs. If I have a spare minute at work i am either reading one of my MANY saved blogs or on the KNK message board. Its not that I have a ton of time at work to do that anymore, but when I should be updated MY blog I tend to gravitate to perusing someone else's. I love reading so many different takes on life. Its also a plus if they are scrap bookers, and post inspirational layouts and projects. Some of my new favorites to peruse are these:

So peruse away.
The new April kit is up at knk! i am totally in love with this kit and took no time in jumping right into my projects. I even have some planned for tonight...if I can get to it. I can't show any right now because I have to wait till my projects are up at the site but they will be here soon!!
Good weekend....
Spent today cleaning, backing up ALL my 2007 photos, proofing and playing store with the boys.
They finished up their derby cars and THIS one has enjoyed it immensely!!
spring is coming...i can feel it. Really i have to believe that all this snow and the ice blockage on my roof will all melt away and leave a beautiful yard of mud at my house, for the dog to play in. That is the first thing on my list to do is to plant a yard. Then my herb garden, and flower beds. Not a bunch of flower beds. Just a couple. To much work if I do more.
Getting on the roof this weekend to try to chip off afore mentioned ice block. Don't want it to melt and get in under the shingles and leak. What fun that will be for me who is afraid to even get on a step ladder.
Want to scrap this weekend also. Hope I have some time...
After taking pictures for a local restaurant tonight I am headed to walmart for spray paint (derby cars) and Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium on DVD. Wanted to see it so badly then heard how much a dear friend loved it and so I decided to just get it. We will watch it tonight for movie night!!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!!!
