Where to start?

Phew lots of happenings this weekend! Had a four day weekend!! YEAH!!!

Graduationmemorialday_web_1   Taylor Graduated from K this last Wednesday!!! Such a great kid he has been in school. Already got his report card and it looks GREAT! So proud of him! They sung about 5 songs and all the kids were adorable. None of my pics in the gym were worth showing! SORRY! But I did get a good one of him and his teach, and an OK one with his diploma.

Never in my wildest dreams would this kid get such rave reviews from the teacher and the in room helpers. Never thought he would sit still long enough to learn anything! LIL...he is super smart, but in different ways from his brother.

Sooo cute!

Christopher is done with third grade and passed on to the fourth with a fantastic report card. He had a C in Math last midterm and brought it up to an A-!!! so proud!!! Course we worked hard together every night to bring it up...

Then went camping Thursday night..had a BLAST Thursday and Friday, got to see thisGraduationmemorialday_026web_1  and caught this! Graduationmemorialday_034web Then amazingly enough after a retched Rain storm on Saturday woke up to this on Sunday morning...

Graduationmemorialday_073web

yeah that's snow but on Monday even though it was a bit chilly we had patches of sun and i got this!

Graduationmemorialday_128web

All in all a good weekend to get away and not worry about emails, scrapping, phones, TV, people, work, soccer, dirty house, dirty laundry and messy yard!! AHHHHH.....now back to the grind.

Sorry!

Its been a LONG time for an update.. been so busy with end of school and memorial day! Give me some time to get my work done and pictures downloaded and I will fill ya'll in!

Need some input!!!

Thinking of doing a retreat in early October. I am looking at a couple cabins in the area and are wanting some info from readers. Retreat would be two nights and three days, in a BEAUTIFUL mountain cabin. Full cropping with lots of room, three classes with several diff teachers.

Here are my questions.

How far would you be willing to travel for a fantastic weekend retreat? 1 hour 2 hours?

How much would you be willing to pay for potluck? how much would you be willing to pay for meals included?

Would you be willing to share a room? (most guests would know each other)

PLEASE give me your answers...even if you are far away and could not come, I just need some info!

Still recovering

Still so tired from the cku trip...still have scrap stuff all over my living room floor, desperately need to clean out the old to move in the new. Going to start that tonight. Also need to do laundry for camping this weekend. Hope it can all get done!

Here is a fun pic from this weekend. Apparently my friend Heather lost her rub-on during class, we found it that night in the hotel room!!

OK....

gonna take a minute to fill you all in on what has happened the last five or six days.

CKU was fantastic!!! Had so much dang fun! Met wonderful new people and hung out with 559 crazy scrapbooks, shopped, and dropped. Still so VERY tired. Left Wednesday morning and shopped in the bountiful/SLC area, then head back up (in heavy rush hour) to Wolf Creek lodge in the mountains. Fantastic place to spend the night. Worked on Dorm stuff then headed out early the next morning for Provo. Registered and started make and takes RIGHT away...loved the six by six pages most demonstrators did. Took a mini class then tailgate and crop. Cku_200web Our dorm had won the cheer contest and we had to do our cheer for the group. Scared crap-less...good thing I was the dead guy....(we were CLUE by the way). Had too much fun in classes and even got a mini photo shoot in, along with pizza and Mexican food! LOL...also got a free sample of the SLC youth choir. AMAZING voices and soo cute. i got some awesome shots. Met my new best friend too! Cku_244web I love Donna Downey! So happy I got to meet her! Loved her class. Cku_536web Also got a pic of her daughter and my crocs. She seemed to be impressed that I was the only one with blue crocs (as opposed to all the pink ones) at cku. Her daughter was so adorable and VERY well behaved! Oh and by the way Donna Downey likes my crap.  All in all got WAY to much stuff and had WAY to much fun.

Then I learned my car was a goner. My dad loaned me his jeep for the trip so he could take my car in for a check up...course now it just headed to the morgue. Its gone, but don't worry I am now the proud half owner of a 1998 Ford Taurus. Its in great shape and I won't be afraid to drive it!

AND I won the SCRAP COOPS spring contest!! I came in FIRST!! YEAH!!!!!! I won with this Layout.!!

I have soo much to say!

SOO want to post! gotta work first!! I have so much to tell you all!!! expect more this afternoon!

Well...

I got a bit done...2 soccer games, a long lost family reunion at one, mowed lawn, cleaned three flower beds, planted two, scraped paint off half the front porch, buried one stepping stone, did one load of laundry (hmmm better get on that), finished my entry in Amy's circle journal, and one page with some of my favorite pics of Chris. Just fast and easy!

Thought I had missed the May mag and bought one, came home started to read through it and Huh? all the pages looked familiar. Ck So I have a brand new CK May mag up for grabs! Anyone want it? 5 things I can see on my desk: sticky notes, Rolodex, keyboard, bottle water, a huge pile of work to finish, rubbing alcohol, stamps.

5 things that kept me busy this weekend: scrap booking, yard work, bday parties, weenie roast, kite flying.

5 things I am doing this week: soccer, soccer, card club, soccer, oh and then soccer

5 things I said to make someone smile: Telling Taylor how proud I was of him for scoring at the game, those pants look big on you, Whatever you did to you hair is amazing, good morning, hello.

I now Tag LEE!! (ha gotcha)

04web

Taylor had is first ever soccer game last night! Totally the best game I have ever been to. Those 5 and 6 year olds are hilarious. Running the wrong direction, picking up the ball, kicking it to the other side of the playground and not stopping even though its out of bounds. Taylor scored the very first goal of the season!!! I am soo proud of him!! He says it was an accident but I don't care. The main problem he has was leaving the field and coming over for hugs and drinks. Had to tell him about 100 times to get back on the field!! LOL....So much fun!
