I love to scrap. I rarely find time to do it over a long period of time. It seems now a days I usually get my only scrapping done at the retreats. Which is good, but makes for some boring in betweens. This year I have changed that. I have decided to do my version of project life. I didn't go online and buy all of Becky Higgins really cool products to use because I honestly could not afford all of it. What I should have done is just buy the Page protectors and used my own stuff to fill in. Instead I just decided to do a week at a time on 8.5x11 kraft paper in the same sort of style. I am actually keeping up on it because I have a designated time and do NOTHING else but that. I chose sunday mornings to do my PL page and so far its been working! Thought I would share my first few weeks! Sorry the pictures are not so great. Cell phone camera.

Week 4

Week 5

I have a friend who is also doing PL and we are trying to hold each other accountable to actually finishing this year. I am telling myself that if I can commit to this year and get it done then my Christmas present to myself next year will be Becky Higgins Kit! YAY!

It has been so nice to not worry about matchy matchy or embelishments. It really whats on my desk at the time. No pressure no worries.

  1. Thank you! I'm so glad to see you post again. Love the project. I found a website that had a photo a day, but it gave you a topic which has been sort of helpful to me. Still not sure I'll get it done, but it's awesome to just take more photos again. Sometimes all I take photos of are my cards, layouts, and projects. Boring!
    Anyway, I'm loving it.
