First day.......

Yesterday was my boys first day of school! 8th grade for Chris and 5th grade for Bug. Every year I beg them for first day photos!! Did I get a smile?????? of course not. With all the pleading and yes even bribing I still couldn't get a decent smile out of either one of them! SOO tired of it! Will they grow out of it? The weather was rainy and yucky but a shoved them out the door for a quick couple shots in between rain drops. Neither one were extremely happy to head to school but neither were too unhappy either!

Don't think i shared this one here!

I did this card for a challenge over at the 4 girls blog. The challenge was to use Card stock. I used some new stamps I got from hero arts and just went simple!

Help!!!

Ok scrapper babes I seriously need help! I made this cute magent board for my cousin for her birthday and used pictures she had on Face Book to make some of the magnets. I used flat glass stones with diamond glaze to adhere the pictures BEHIND the stones. BUT the pictures eventually all blured and the colors blended so much you couldn't even tell it was a photo. I told her I would figure out how to make them with the correct glue and I came home and tried my next favorite glue modge podge but that didn't work either!! What kind of glue do I use to adhere the photos to the BACK of the stones??? I really want to get them to her!

Cookies and cream cake a'la Taylor

Tonight we are going to a bbq at Darla's house and she asked us to bring desert. I of course told Taylor he could make it! Nice having a baker in the house! He is very proud of this cake and is excited that finally someone else besides family will be eating one of his cakes! He did the entire cake except for the oven!!

 

Recipe!!!

1 package white cake mix

3 egg whites

1 1/4 c water

1/3 cup of veggie oil

1 cup crushed oreo cookies

Beat mix, eggs, water, and oil for two minutes till well mixed. Fold in crushed cookies. Cook in two 9 inch round cake pans well greased and  dusted with flour. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes till toothpick comes clean.

Frost with butter cream frosting and decorate as wanted with additional oreo cookies.

FUN in the office when its slow!!

We will be holding a yard sale to benefit the hospital and would appreciate your help!!! If you would like to donate any goods to the yard sale you can bring them to Smith’s or to 1315 S Holmes in Idaho Falls (Farmers Insurance). Large items will need to be stored somewhere else (if you know anyone who has a trailer and willing to let us store those larger items, please let us know). If you can not donate then please come and see all the wonderful items that will be at the sale!! We will also be having a raffle, food booths, a car wash and MORE!!!
