Wanting to scrap......

ever just sit in front of your workspace and WANT to scrap but CANT? I have had that trouble this week. got my room back to a "scrap" state and just want to create, i have things I NEED to create but just can't t seem to pluck up the courage to DO it....ugh.

So family reunion is this weekend. Should be fun. Looking forward to the wilderness and a chance to work on some landscape  photos.....I suck at landscapes.

oh AND one of my dearest friends (the one I have had for 22 years.......holy crap....I am old enough to have a friend that long?) Is coming to town for her HS reunion and before I leave town for the reunion on friday we are going to run over to a park after I get off work and take a couple shots! Excited to practice on someone new.

Nummies!!

My very dear friend (of 22 years!) sent me a TERRIFIC bday present. TONS of paper, TONS of AC ribbon (my fav) and this ADORABLE little fold out "mini album". Its just to dang adorable not to show you! Both fold out to reveal places to put pictures. TOO cute....definitely going to have to scrap lift this one!

And my darling friend Darla made me THIS. Inside was some adorable ribbon and a sassafras stamp!!

a couple more layouts!

I got a TON done this weekend! Four 12x12 layouts, 8 cards, helped with four mini books, did most of my brothers wedding album AND went shopping!! Here are some of the projects! The mini books were sooo much fun...look like a purse when its all finished. We made four of them assembly line style and it still took forever. They are friendship themed so I am going to use my "friends" from cku to fill it. The cards are for the card swap I am in. July's theme is Christmas so I got a head start using some of my mil's supplies!! LOL.....

The magnetic board above was what I made for my mother-in-law for her bday. The boards are from Roberts and the paper is Scenic Route (my fav) Had a BLAST making it and she seemed to love it! She's a major scrapper so its nice to have someone appreciate the work you put into something like this! I will try to post some of the layouts I did later!

we have bday cakes at work for coworkers and its my turn...yep its my bday on Sunday and sooo glad they got me cheesecake! LOL
