not going to work.....

I took Monday, Tues, and wed off work originally so even though I came home early from the retreat I am not going into work. I was asked to and I told him no. That's just the way it is. I have taken no vaca days and only going to take a week at Christmas so I am taking it off! Slept in till 9 and had a great breakfast with my son. I am cleaning house and trying to get the wedding shoot proofing ALL DONE today. Only a few left.

Took a few days off of work to enjoy a scrapping retreat with some friends! Don't miss me too much!

The day before Friday the day after Wednesday.Tired as all get out and don't really know why. Went to sleep about 10 last night and got plenty of sleep. Need to do a bit of house cleaning tonight and hopefully make some more progress on the proofing of the wedding photos. I am probably a little more than half way done. Want to scrap too, but need to tidy my scrap room up. Piled some stuff in a corner I didn't know what to do with so I need to tackle that. Never enough time in the day. Never.

I know I know....kick me in the butt....i deserve it

But please not too hard it hurts today...so do my thighs....

I photographed a wedding Saturday and boy was I exhausted. I can tell you right now I do not charge enough...think the rates will have to change when 2007 comes along. Loved the wedding. The bride was beautiful, ceremony was precious and the reception was rockin. Really rockin.

Halfway through my CF card filled up, went to grab another and they were GONE. Had 40 min till the ceremony and ran to Farr's (camera, jewelry, and electronics store) for some more cards, opened my purse and my WALLET was gone!!! I left it at home on my scrap desk!!! I burst into tears and Farr's gave me 350 bucks worth of product on the promise of being there before they closed! I had to call in a friend to break into my house so she could bring me my wallet and take my debit card to pay for it. Thank the Lord for Farr's I will always shop at Farr's from now on! Crisis averted. I am loving a ton of the images so far. Took so many pics that i took me almost all day Sunday to just pick the ones to proof!! Will be working on that all week looks like. Got an email today from a friend of mine asking for prayers. She is trying to adopt some children from Wednesday's child. She is a wonderful mother and these kids deserve it, so if you have a moment and feel inclined could you keep your fingers crossed or say a prayer for her?

Went to Jackson last weekend and walked into a photography gallery with photos I could have gotten lost in forever, BUT I was with younger cousins so I just went through quickly but got stuck on this.... Totally entranced and enamored by his work. No way I could afford a print but I did get a coffee table book to peruse. Amazing work with color and the definition of the faces gets my heart beating.

Boys are still gone and even though I  miss them terribly I am still enjoying my 'alone' time. Well that's pretty much it for today! Thanks for dropping by!!

edited: my youngest son just called. He is coming home TOMORROW!!! Oldest will stay a little longer. anyone want to drive to boise with me tomorrow?LOL

  Oh baby.....Saw this movie yesterday and loved it so much I didn't want to leave the theater!!! I want to eat him with some fava beans and bottle of chianti.....

Last friday I met up with my friend of 22 years! Did a quick shoot in her other friends parents back yard. Had fun, had trouble getting the little boy to be happy. He was so tired from a long car ride it wasn't really fair to shove a camera in his face.

Sorry readers. I have been amiss in my daily blogging. I had a wonderful four day weekend but came back to work to find that everyone and their dog had insurance business to do. SOOOO busy. Hardly any time to pee!!!

My father's family reunion was this past week and I took 1400 pics. Yes that's right 1400. Course I am not going to show all of them to you. Can't really....Haven't downloaded them all yet.... Here are few of my favs...

This is my older brother (Much older). He is an amazing singer and can play that guitar with the best of them.....proud to say he even has a CD....course so far only family owns it.

This is my GRAND niece...yes you saw that right...my GRAND niece. She is my nieces 11 year old daughter. You do the math.... she has the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen!

And last but not least. My favorite uncle. The man I loved since i was a little girl. We call him Crazy Jon. Crazy cuz he is.

Here are just a few here and there. Oh and all the kids shown are my grand nieces and nephews except for one second cousin....
