prayers are answered!

Just to update everyone!!

We got the home!! Finally!!

In November we found a perfect home for our family. Mother included. Enough room for the boys to play downstairs with 5 bedrooms, two storage rooms, and a CRAFT room!!! We put down and offer and it was excepted. It was in a short sale so we were getting it a fantastic price.
Meanwhile the paperwork was underway at the bank. Two days before we were supposed to close we finally got the appraisal. The appraisal was 8 thousand less than what we offered. The sellers agent through a fit and low and behold the appraiser admitted a mistake on the appraisal. Not sure now if it even was a mistake. The bank graciously considered the mistake for WEEKS and I mean WEEKS. Finally the answer was given after several extensions, addendum and stress the bank said "sorry, we are accepting the original appraisal price." We put in an addendum to have the offer at the lower price and hoped and prayed that it would be excepted so we could close! The seller accepted late Friday afternoon!! The bank is now getting all the paperwork ready for closing by FRIDAY!! So not only did we get the home we wanted but 8,000 dollars cheaper than the offer! God was watching out for us!!!

We will be moving QUICK this weekend into our new home!! So excited!!

Now to just get my mom here. :)

let go and let

GOD!!!

I REALLY need to learn how to do that better.

We still have not closed on the home. We are still playing the whole bank vs. buyer game. Its a game I really hope not to loose but at this point its hard not to think that.

Keep praying warriors and I will post if/when I ever find anything out.

prep

Since we are moving (still praying that it actually happens) we needed to touch up the wall that got scrapped from our garbage can. Two of my walls in my kitchen are brown and those are the only ones we are touching up. We got the paint yesterday (brown) and all the tools we needed and today me and Bug started prepping. Which mean lots of taping. Today I discovered that Bug is a Fantastic taper!! Saved me sooo much time. He got on the counters and did all the high stuff and I did all the lower taping! ( I have a heights issue) Here he is helping out. He looks pretty dejected in these photos, not because I am making him help ( he offered) but because I took out my camera to document it.

Hope he is as good at painting as he is at frowning!

Layout number 8 and the LAST

Phew, bet you guys are done with this!!! At least I am posting. Or pre-posting or whatever.

This layout is of my friend/secretary Darla's office lunch. We always close the office on our birthdays and head to heaven on a plate for some fun! Darla chose Garcia's on this birthday and got stuck wearing the dreaded sombrero. Ew. How many germs exactly????

Layout number 3

I hate scrapping about myself. Yes I KNOW I need to do it to document my life for my kids etc etc blah blah blah. It does not mean I have to LIKE it.

I made the flowers myself again. and left a little room for journaling. That is of course not done. lol

Used a little fun 'bling' on here.

Layout number 2

This is my NOW 92 year old grandma and my oldest. This photo was taken quite a few years ago and I am dying to get another photo just like it. As a comparison. She is only 4ft 11 inches and in our family everyone gets excited when the pass grandma in height! He was almost there. Of course he towers over her now! lol

I really love the prima flour on here. Wish I was talented to make them myself! I still have to finish the journaling. Just have not had time!

ONE MORE THING

One more thing thrown at me is one more thing than I can take. I realize I do NOT handle stress well. Or not at all really. I take it and take it then boom, frazzle bedazzled. We are STILL not closed on the house. Still jumping through hoops THEN to top it all off RIGHT before we are about to close we find out that the appraisal that didn't make it in time to close anyway, has an error. A big enough one that we are now scrambling to even close next week. Soon. I hope.

Because I am so caught up in this the blog has suffered, well most everything has suffered. Course a hangnail on my left toe next to the big toe can make my blog suffer. Lets face it. I am not the best blog writer out there. ;) BECAUSE I am all caught up in life and crap and more crap I finally decided to take photos of all the layouts I did at our last retreat in October to fill in the poor blog. That is seriously the last time I 'scraped'. Maybe that's what's wrong with me? I will share one layout a day with a little explanation for the paper, people etc to pop up every day till I run out of layouts. Hopefully they will last me till we close and my life can go on as normal. So without further ado, here is the first layout.

Harold and LaRee
This is my office partner and good friend. I was able to run out quick one day to take some shots of her family. And it was good till the kids ran away and parents ran a way. I love these shots of Her and her hubby after everyone took off and we were just out enjoying the back yard in the shade!

Paper is my minds eye and so is all the embellies! I made the flowers myself though!
Under the photo is hidden journaling (yet to be journaled)
