This is a layout I did for a friend of mine. We did a picture swap with several ladies. It was so nice to scrap little girl pictures! Love the paper......

I'm a Chevrolet Corvette!

You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.

Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

WHATEVER!! That discription is soooo not me....

Sign ups have started!

Funny thing happened on the way to my blog!

I forgot to Update! LOL. Been really busy at home and a work. i have pics I want to share, things that have happened but not one thing really sticks out as a blog worthy topic. so this is what you get today. Boring Boring Boring. Every day life of me.

Saturday Taylor had a soccer game and they one by one point, well the only point. Guess who made that score? YES my Taylor. NO pride here, really. Then it was off to my Dad's garage sale to help out. He did very well but still has a ton left so he may have another one this weekend. Then it was home to clean house, which didn't get completely finished but enough. Sunday afternoon my kids and I met up with the Hansens and we headed up to the wilderness to try to get some Autumn shots of my family for Christmas cards. I haven't even finished proofing so I can't show you any! LOL. Sorry...maybe tomorrow!

Well that is IT. Boring right? Told ya so.

Rain Rain please please stay

I am loving the rain. We finally got some rain today with tomorrow being over cast. I hate when its over cast and the sky is too lazy to rain. I love it when it actually does rain. I love the cozy feeling I get while being inside while the water runs down the windows. Wanting to curl up with a good book and not feeling guilty cuz I should be out doing yard work. Rain is the best excuse NOT to mow the lawn. I got stuff to make stew at the store last night and can't to sit at the dinner table with my kids and a warm bowl of yummyness and warm buttered rolls.

Trip to Boise

Had a ton of fun this weekend in Boise. Had a little bit of trouble with Taylor's allergies but other than that a BLAST. Spent WAY to much money, but got some cool new Scrap Product. I was going to take a pic of it all but I forgot and put it all away! ACK....but I do have some other pics!

This is Chris at the Idaho Discovery Center. Fantastic place for kids and parents to learn all about science and the way things work. This experiment got the better of him. Its about centrifical (sp?) force and right after I took this pic he went wild and fell. Bad...

This is Taylor on a Chair he lifted all by himself. It uses the Pulley system and he really thought it was cool!

Rain, bad news, and fantastic news!

OK first of all it is FREAKING raining. Not just raining but FREAKING raining. GUSHING, lightning, thunder the whole works, second~ MY WATER HEATER LEAKED! A hose on the top got a small little crack and started leaking early this morning. Thank goodness I found it this morning, even though it really threw a kink in the schedule, for me and my father, because we are leaving for the weekend and what a mess would that have been coming home to. My dad had to miss a meeting to fix it. Hopefully he CAN fix it. If not we have to call a plumber to get it fixed. AND THIRD......................................................................................................................

My photos are being featured in a local parade of homes! Parade of Homes is where new builders, artisans, and designers can put thier most recent work out for people to see. Its a big deal around here. BIG! The response has been wonderful. I just took over my business cards and the designer said that I may even have to make more! omg.....she let me go through this beautiful brand new home, probably the most beautiful home I have ever seen, so I could see all the places they have used my pictures. There was a set of ladies wandering around with me and they kept commenting on how much "fun" the pictures were. It took me a while to work up the courage to tell them they were mine. Keep your fingers crossed I get some business! It was so exciting to see my work in huge form! Love how they showcased them and thrilled people really like them! It was fun to walk into the bedrooms and see small photos tucked in here and there, almost like a treasure hunt. I'm still tingling!

279 th post

Leaves_fall It actually "feels" like fall. Its windy cloudy and even some of the leaves are changing. I love this time of year. Kids get to start wearing warmer clothes, I get to start wearing warmer clothes, but have to stop wearing sandals or crocks. LOVE wearing my crocks. So dang comfortable.

Excited about so many things! Excited that the retreat is really going to happen and having fun getting stuff ready! Everyone is going to get a survivor kit and even some giveaways! I am already getting the menu figured out!

Also excited to head to Boise this weekend! Hanging with my friend and mom, shopping for scrap stuff and just have fun! Nice to take a little trip just for fun once in awhile!

Hope YOU are excited about something....are you?

Smiling

it feels good. I passed a lady in my car today who looked like she hadn't smiled in her entire life. Her faced was all pinched up and the look in her eyes was scary. She was probably 80 years old and every day of her life was shown on her face. Do you think she had the hardest life? A husband who beat her, children who manipulated her, neighbors that egged her house, dogs that crapped on her lawn, or do you think that through her whole life she felt as though she had nothing to smile about. That she was just mean and nasty and now it shows? Good thing I can't help but smile, I don't want to look like a sour old grape when I am 80.

Had another on line class with Kim Archer last night! LOVED the layout. I think its my favorite layout she has put together for us. Totally enjoyed myself and even got done early enough to head bed before ten! Thanks Kim for another fantastic class!

Lynard, Skynard and a skunk

concert was great. Weather was perfect, no mosquitoes to infect the groupies. All around good night at the fair. Course on the way home I drove passed a FRESHLY squished skunk. So fresh that my car smells like I actually hit it. Dad washed, then washed it again. ewwww. almost had to pull over and puke before I made it home.

B000fimg6801 Been watching the second season of lost. It came out on dvd, and I am enjoying it throughly. Lots of people told me the second season was not as good as the first and I don't agree at all. Can't wait till the third season starts in October. Glad I have DVR. lol......

Going to a friends house tonight to say goodbye to her son. He is moving to Florida in the morning and I think its a good thing. He has been a hard one to raise. Hope it all works out.

Taylor has a game bright and early tomorrow then its off to the library and the then to the mall to pay my sears card and pick up my friend Stephanie's bday gift. Hope she likes it!

Maybe some scrapping this weekend HOPING anyway! lOL

apologies

my sincerest apologies to the world of blogging. I have been extremely remiss in posting and even though I am sorry I don't care. LOL...

I have been fighting a pretty bad head cold and even though I have come to work its not because I feel fantastic its because if I stayed home my mess coming back would be enough to make me quit. I am however feeling much better than I did three days ago.

Going to a concert tonight. it will be loud i will have my ears plugged. I can stand loud music but the high pitched buzz or static from the speakers hurts bad. Its at our county fair so hoping to get in some nasty, greasy, fried food too. LOL....

Here is a layout I did during Kim Archers online class tuesday. LOVE her and her style!
